Today Daft Punk released their last album, Random Access Memories, and we wanted to celebrate it with an hommage.

For those who don’t know, Daft Punk is an electronic music duo consisting of French musicians Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo (born 8 February 1974) and Thomas Bangalter (born 3 January 1975)
They’re probably one of the most image-conscious bands ever. They never show up without impersonating their alter-egos: the robots. Arguably you can say that they applied the concept of branding into music.

Probably their most succesful album (and my favorite by far) was Discovery, that counted with a full lenght animation film, Interstella 5555, by Leiji Matsumoto, as their videoclips, and definitely worth watching.

Regarding their last work, Random Access memories, I personally think they made a return to the basics, which is also traceable thru their current image.

Some people is not happy with it, arguing that they expected more. What about you? Do you like their last album?
