Trieste Lives is a personal project produced to participate in the Street View contest organized by Zooppa and The tourism board of Friuli Venezia Giulia
Trieste is a beautiful city with both sea and mountain, city and nature. Two and a half hours close to Venice by train, and even less by car, it’s an awesome destination that goes overlook against other places like Udine.
Inspired in a quote from the sermon of the Mount, the initial trailers of Prometheus and Ibiza videos, the idea was to describe and amazing yet unknown city in both its peacefullness and life, in a modern and original way.
Filming in Trieste is rather difficult. Being on a hill, the streets are beautiful, but also steep so carrying filming equipment can be tough. Also, most of the best vantage points where in different points of the city, up high, which made it hard to make it, but resulted in beautiful shots of the bay that shows even Aquileia or Grado.

It was filmed with a Sony A35
Lenses DT 1.8/50 SAM, 3.5-5.6/18-55 SAM and 4.5-5.6/75-300
Sound recorded with Sony linear PCM recorder PCM-M10
